Us
The American Driving School provides students a driver education "Certificate of Completion" to those who have successfully completed twenty-four (24) hours of classroom instruction and eight (8) hours of behind-the-wheel driver training. Students are eligible for classroom instruction two (2) months prior to obtaining their permit. Students may obtain their permits at age 15 1/2. Driver training is individually scheduled after obtaining a permit and completing classroom instruction. The American Driving School is a professional driving school utilizing not only instructors licensed by the Department of Public Safety, but teachers certified through the Department of Education. American promotes a serious and responsible attitude towards driving in a most professional, yet efficient manner.

Automobiles
The American Driving School vehicles meet or exceed state standards and regulations and all have roof top signs identifying the driver as a student for his/her safety. All vehicles are annually inspected by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and maintained in excellent condition.
