REGISTRATION INFORMATION
The AMERICAN DRIVING SCHOOL, upon full payment, provides students a driver education “Certificate of Completion” to those who have successfully completed twenty-four (24) hours of classroom instruction and eight (8) hours of behind-the-wheel driver training. Driver training is individually scheduled after obtaining a permit. The American Driving School is a professional driving school utilizing not only instructors licensed by the Department of Public Safety, but teachers certified through the Department of Education. American promotes a serious and responsible attitude towards driving in a most professional, yet, efficient manner.
After completing the Registration/Contract form, you may mail it to the American Driving School or hand deliver by placing registration form and deposit in an envelope and passing it through the red mail slot in the door at the American Driving School (Sandusky address). Send no money or registration forms to Port Clinton High School. Enrollment is limited to insure quality of learning. A seat will be reserved to students who have returned their form along with a minimum $150.00 deposit. The enclosed contract is required by state law and is your guarantee of our services. If you have questions, please call the owner. Classes are available to any student residing in Ottawa County.

** If the Port Clinton High School has make up days due to too many weather cancellations, the classes will be in the evening from
6:00pm – 9:00pm until all the classes are made up. Then they will be as per the above schedule.
* Get your child in class early, they can start the classroom portion as young as 15yrs. 5 months old for the first class, a permit is not needed until the in car portion of training begins*
